| Edward R. Tedeschi Mr. Tedeschi is the Founder and Managing Partner of HC Associates, LLC. His professional experience encompasses more than 26 years in asset management, alternative investments, finance, trading, operations and administration. Prior to establishing HC Associates, he was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers, Inc. in San Francisco where he headed the Western Region for the Prime Brokerage and Equity Finance Division. Prior to joining Lehman, Ed was employed by Genesis Merchant Group. As a Managing Director and its Chief Operating Officer, he was responsible for the daily over site of Seneca Capital Management (SEC Registered Investment Advisor), Genesis Merchant Group Securities (NASD Broker Dealer) and a family of proprietary alternative investment funds. Aggregate assets, exceeding $20 billion were under management in a multitude of strategies. Ed also acted as a strategic advisor to Phoenix Investment Partners in regard to their acquisition of Seneca Capital Management, Roger Engemann and Associates and Zweig Securities, respectively. He also performed this advisory role on behalf of Bel Air Investment Advisors, which was formed by a group of Goldman Sachs partners. Prior to joining Genesis and relocating to San Francisco, Ed was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley & Co., New York. His career spanned over a ten year period and he performed a variety of roles. He was one of the founding principals of its Correspondent Services business, involved in the early formation of its market leading Prime Brokerage business and traveled globally during the expansion of the firms International business. His career started in 1979 with Goldman Sachs & Co., where he received his introduction to finance, operations and administration. He attended New York City Community College and currently holds NASD registrations in the Series 4, 7, 8, 24, & 63. |

Carl J. Versella Mr. Versella joins HC Associates, LLC as partner and head of East Coast operations. His professional experience spans more than 23 years in Finance and Operations with over 15 years in the Hedge Fund and Prime Brokerage arenas. A hands-on, results-oriented Hedge Fund Finance Professional and operations expert, Carl worked for 5 plus years at Credit Suisse First Boston, advising and consulting for hedge funds and was a senior person involved in the development of sales, marketing, technology and infrastructure for CSFB's Prime Services unit. Notable relationships established represent alternative managers in all phases of their business lifecycle including start up to multi-billion dollar managers. Prior to CSFB, Mr. Versella spent more than six years at Tiger Management LLC, a global hedge fund with assets under management in excess of $20 billion at the height of its performance. At Tiger he was responsible for developing their operating infrastructure, managing the financing, liquidity and leverage of the funds, and streamlining controls and procedures throughout the organization. Carl spent tenures at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs in various groups supporting hedge funds, alternative managers and institutions for more than 10 years. He has substantial exposure to a variety of firms in the hedge fund community as well as strong relationships throughout the industry with key people on the buy (hedge funds, alternative managers) and sell side (service providers, investment banks, prime brokers). He is founder and Managing Partner of Double N Advisors LLC, an advisory business for Alternative/Hedge Fund Managers. Mr. Versella holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the City University of New York and NASD registrations in the series 7, 24, 63. |
