Gerald Cavataio has over 25 years of experience with expertise in managing all accounting, reporting and operational functions of alternative investment firms. Gerald also has extensive experience in service provider selection and negotiation, including preparing private placement memorandums, initiating prime broker relationships, audit interviews, systems implementation and vendor selection. He is proficient in core documentation preparation such as 13F, Form ADV and Blue Sky reporting, and is also skilled at performance and tax reporting, P&L analysis and portfolio administration.

Previously Gerald was CFO at Athyrium Capital Management where he performed all operational and financial responsibilities. He served over seven years as CFO at Iron Horse Capital Management/Alicanto Capital where, in addition to performing financial responsibilities, he oversaw the technology infrastructure of the firm including budgeting and assessing technology requirements and enhancements. He was also responsible for the securities lending function for the firm. While CFO at Rudman Capital Management, Gerald's responsibilities included the management of all accounting and reporting functions for the firm. He began his career as a Senior Accountant at Touche Ross & Co., and has also held management-level accounting positions at Citibank and Ardsley Partners, L.P.
