Carl J. Versella is President and Chief Operating Officer for HC Associates, LLC. He has close to 30 years of professional experience in finance, operations and consulting in the hedge fund and prime brokerage industries. Carl’s responsibilities include performing senior project management roles for client engagements, head of technology and operations, strategic development of the partnership company network and oversight and development of the HC Learning Center.

Previously, Carl was a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston advising and consulting for hedge funds, and was instrumental in the development of sales, marketing and technology infrastructure for CSFB's Prime Services unit. While at Tiger Management he developed their operating infrastructure, management of financing, liquidity and leverage of the investments, and streamlined controls and procedures throughout the organization. During his tenures at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs he served in various groups supporting hedge funds and alternative managers. Carl also serves as a Senior Advisor to Capital Markets Advisory Partners, and he holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
